What does this integration do?
It links myHERD with SenseHub Dairy so key animal and reproduction data flows automatically between the two systems, no double entry required.
What data moves across?
Animal and reproduction information recorded in myHERD is sent through to SenseHub® Dairy, including animal details (date of birth, BID, VID, EID), reproduction and lifecycle events (calving, mating, pregnancy test results, dry-off), and animal status (sales, culls, deaths, purchases, yearlings).
How quickly does data update?
Most data syncs nightly. Matings, calvings, and tagging updates come through within approximately 2 hours of being entered in myHERD.
Do I need to do anything to get set up?
Yes, call 0800 myHERD (0800 694 373) or email myherd@crv4all.co.nz and we'll walk you through it.
Is there a cost?
An additional 5 cents per animal per month, on top of your standard myHERD subscription. This is a one off cost, no matter how many integrations you have.
What software version does SenseHub® Dairy need?
Version 8.0 or higher. If you're still on DataFlow II, contact the SenseHub® Dairy Service Desk on 0800 255 353 to discuss upgrading.
I have a third-party gate, can I still use this?
Not yet. If you're running a gate other than Intelligate®, we'd recommend holding off on activating the integration until a future SenseHub® Dairy release adds support for this.
Which system should I treat as the source of truth?
myHERD. Once the integration is active, enter and manage core animal data there. Some things still need to be managed in SenseHub® Dairy directly, including group creation, collar management, and Do Not Breed settings.
What if I correct something in myHERD , does it update in SenseHub® Dairy too?
Not always. If something looks wrong in SenseHub® Dairy after a correction, check and fix it in that system directly.
How do AB matings flow through the system?
Whether you use a CRV technician or DIY, once the mating is in myHERD it will flow through to SenseHub Dairy.
This ensures mating data is consistent across all systems without manual re-entry.
